I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies and I do not directly bill insurance. I can provide you with statements/”superbills” to present to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have mental health care coverage. For instance, some companies offer to repay 60-70% of the session cost. Talk to me if insurance is not an option and the cost of therapy is prohibitive, as I offer sliding scale options on a limited basis.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have or aren't using insurance an estimate of the expected total charges for any non-emergency healthcare services services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask any health care provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
